Steal An Egg how to play
The core loop in plain language: steal an egg, hatch a pet, reinvest the money, climb the biomes.
The core loop
Steal An Egg is simple to pick up: you steal eggs from guarded nests, run them back to your base, and hatch them into pets. Each pet earns cash per second (MPS). That money buys Speed and upgrades, which unlock deeper biomes with better eggs and stronger pets.
- Steal an egg. Walk into a nest, grab an egg, get back to the base before the guard catches you. One egg delivered beats two eggs dropped to a guard.
- Hatch it. Place the egg in the hatching area and wait. The pet that comes out earns money per second, even while you're offline.
- Reinvest. Spend cash on Speed, nest slots, and better eggs. Speed is the hidden multiplier — it decides how many runs you complete and whether you win the rare-egg race.
- Climb. The deeper the biome, the rarer the egg, the better the pet. The map has 12 biomes, from Forest (no requirement) up to ones that need billions of Speed.
Your first hour
If you just joined, here's the order that works for most players — no invented numbers, just the sequence:
- Steal your first eggs from the starter biome and hatch them. Even Common pets are progress.
- Stack pets until your MPS is visible, then buy your first Speed upgrade.
- Learn the escape routes before you chase anything rare.
- Start contesting rare-egg spawns once your Speed is decent — they're the best ladder jump.
- Use the tier list to know what to target and the full pet list to see what each biome holds.
Rarity, the quick version
Pets sit on a rarity ladder. The game confirms these classes, from top down: Divine, Eternal, Secret, Cosmic, Mythic, Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, Common. Higher rarity usually means more money per second — but a Legendary you actually own beats a Divine you can't reach yet. See the tier list for how to rank by income instead of name.
Rare eggs & the timer
Rare eggs spawn on a timer — roughly every 5 minutes — and the whole server races to the nest. Pre-positioning and high Speed win the race, not luck. The egg respawn timer is an interactive countdown so you're in position when the gate opens.
