Admin Abuse is a scheduled weekly event, not a security incident. The name refers to the developers switching admin powers on across live servers. It runs every Saturday immediately before the weekly game update, and community guides put its length at 30 to 60 minutes.

The series has run on that cadence since Saturday 22 August 2026. Guides covering it number the 5 September event as #3 and the 12 September event as #4, which back-dates the first in the series to 22 August — the same date as the earliest report we found.

What time does Admin Abuse start?

Admin Abuse starts at 15:00 UTC on Saturday. Every local clock time below is that same moment, converted — not a separate schedule.

This matters more than it looks. Because the start is pinned to UTC and local clocks are not, a region's local start time moves by an hour whenever it changes its daylight saving rules. A printed list of local times is only correct while every region on it sits on the same side of DST as when the list was written. One widely-copied guide currently states both "3 PM UK" and "4 PM UK" on the same page, for exactly this reason. The five-minute egg reset runs in the game code and keeps its own rhythm whether or not anyone is watching it. Admin Abuse is a decision people make each week. Planning around the first is safe. Planning around the second is a good bet with a known failure mode.

Community guides covering the event report server-wide boosts for its duration: faster egg spawns, income, luck and mutation multipliers, free speed, and rotating minigames. Two independent guides list these, but we have not verified the exact multipliers in-game and the set has changed between events — treat specific numbers quoted elsewhere as reported, not confirmed.
